I’m so ready for spring. After a few warmer days in early April, the weather turned cooler again.
However, we’re set to hit our first 90 degree day this week (one of many in this part of the country
this year, I’m sure). One of my favorite things about spring, besides the warmer, beautiful weather –
is the idea of a fresh start to nature. Birds begin to sick us awake, new flowers and gardens bloom,
and our backyard becomes filled with baby squirrels and tiny rabbits enjoying the green grass and
filling their bellies. This concept of a “fresh start” was the inspiration for my newest kit (a sneak peek
is below), set to hit Brownie Scraps on Tuesday.

I love the flowers, the colours, the greenery. We have a very short spring and a longer summer so I appreciate the coolness of spring but not too cold to enjoy. I love the showers and how the air smells afterwards. Makes you feel so relaxed and blessed to be able to enjoy the beauty.
