Happy Friday! I got to tell ya, this week? Was ROUGH! My youngest was home sick for 3 days, and it was one of those times when he (in all of his 11 year old awesomeness) was incredibly whiny and miserable and clingy and demanded snuggles ALL. THE. TIME. Now, I’m not complaining — I’ll snuggle him until he’s 33, if he’ll let me! But, it meant several days of getting NOTHING accomplished, so now I’m further behind than I already was (and that was bad enough, lol!)
But, despite the rough, craziness of those days, I was THANKFUL. Thankful that I could be at home with him, taking care of his every need. Thankful that I could take him in to a wonderful pediatrician’s office who care about making him better. Thankful that the medicine helped him feel better faster, and get him back closer to his normal self quicker. Thankful that, even when this life isn’t perfect, it’s MINE. And I LOVE it!
