Happy September! 🙂 I know I say at the beginning of each month that I can’t believe how fast the year is going by, and how I can’t believe we’re already one month closer to the end of the year. But, the truth is? Every month, I can’t believe how fast the year has gone by so far, and every month I can’t believe we’re already one month closer to the end of the year! And, this first day of September? Absolutely the same. If I’m not careful, I’ll blink and it will be Christmas already (*knocks on wood that does NOT happen*…I’m no where near ready to think about Christmas, yet, lol)
The first of the month means a new GingerScraps buffet, and the designers have flooded the store with bright, happy products. After all, from where we sit? Life Is Beautiful! 🙂 I have 7 fun new products to coordinate with this month’s buffet, and you can pick up all of them for just $1.50 each through September 5th! 🙂 Each pack individually linked for you below:
Alphas – Elements – Papers – Word Pieces
Clusters – Stacked Papers – QuickPages
But, new months aren’t just for buffet items – oh no! They’re also for $1 Bake Sale items! And, this month? I may have gone just a tad bit overboard, lol, but there is a method to my madness, I promise. And, sharing that method gives you just a small glimpse at how my creative mind works. Enjoy! 😉
First, I think of how much has happened since August 1st. With school starting at the end of August, we tried our best to cram lots of fun into our last few weeks of summer freebie. That meant play dates, swimming, movies, and lots of outdoor fun in the sun. If I’m guessing, there are probably lots of you who spent a good portion of August doing the same thing – which means you have a LOT of end-of-summer pictures just begging to be scrapped, right? Well, why not tackle some of those layouts with my portions of the Happy Hopscotch Buffet? After all, it was all about sun, outdoor summer fun!
Alpha – Elements – Plain Papers – Patterned Papers
But, those last few weeks of summer went by FAR too fast for my family. Now Tyler’s firmly planted in his First Grade class, and I’m full swing into the new college semester. That means out house is filled with new things to read – college textbooks, library books, a syllabus for each class, homework, vocabulary words, etc. It’s ok, though. We’re a family that kind of likes to read! If you have a lover of reading in your family, then I have 4 great products from the Reading Room Buffet:
Elements – Papers – Polka Dot Papers – Templates
And last, but not least, my son asked about joining the Tiger Scouts (because, “Mommy!!!”, he yelled, “they shoot BB Guns and Bows and Arrows!”). Now, I don’t know if we’ll actually let him join or not…the local den (is that what they call it?) meets on Monday nights – and Tyler has a flag football game every Monday night for the next few months. BUT, Tiger/Cub/Boy Scouts makes me think of the outdoors, and camping, and that made me think of By The Campfire:
Kit – Clusters – Stacked Papers – QuickPages
So, let’s recap. Seven lovely new buffet items for the Life Is Beautiful Buffet. Twelve products in the $1 Bake Sale. Sounds like a GREAT blog post to me, right? Know what would make it even better? A freebie, of course! And I have a GORGEOUS freebie for you – a pack of 2 clusters to coordinate with the new Life Is Beautiful buffet items
