Meet the Team Monday – Meet Crystal and a sale!

It’s time for you to meet another of the Blue Heart Scraps team. Here’s a little more about CT Member Crystal!

Tell us alittle about yourself:

My name is Crystal, but you’ll see my around the digi world as krystlbear. No, I don’t spell my name with a “k”, it’s just part of my digi name. I married my husband Jerry in June of 2010 after being together for 5.5 years. We have a 5 year old son together and then I also have a step-daughter. I’m a homemaker/SAHM, and I have an applied Associate’s Degree in Accounting Technology and Office Systems.

How long have you been on the Blue Heart Scraps CT?

I have been part of the Blue Heart Scraps CT since June of 2011.

Tell us about your scrapping experience: Did you ever paper scrap? When did you start digi-scrapping? How did you get started?

I had never really thought about scrapbooking before. Then in September 2010 after our wedding I was browsing CafeMom and found a group for digital scrapbooking. So I joined the group and began scrapbooking. I had downloaded a free program called paint.net to use. Then I found a free trial for PSE9 and tried that and I loved it. Then in December I bought the full version of PSE9 and have been using it ever since.

What program do you use?

I use PSE9.

Can you share a tip or a piece of advice for your fellow digi scrappers out there?

Use your drop shadows. When I first started digi scrapping, I wasn’t using any shadows then someone gave me the tip and it made some very impressive changes to my scrapping.

I’m addicted to chap stick.

What is your favorite layout you’ve made using Blue Heart Scraps products?

I do love all of the kits that have been designed by Blue Heart Scraps, but if I have to pick just one it would be “Showing Thanks”.
