Meet the Team Monday – Michelle and a New Sale

It’s time to meet another of the great Blue Heart Scraps CT Members – Michelle! Let’s see what she had to tell us!

Basic Bio:

I am Michelle, Dave is my husband,and we’ve been married since April 2002. We’ve produced 2 children, 1 boy and 1 girl so far! Priscilla is 5½ & Luke is 3½. I was born and raised in Texas, but currently reside in Tennessee.

We also have 1 pup, a Siberian Husky, Zoe, she is 1 year old and an old, grouchy, loud mouth, cat, Yoko, lol who is 8.

I am a SAHM for the past 2 years, but before this adventure, I worked full-time at a Veterinary Clinic in accounting for 8 years.

How long have you been on the Blue Heart Scraps CT?
I joined BHS, February 2012 and I’ve loved ever minute of it!

What is your favorite layout you’ve made using Blue Heart Scraps products?

I really love the “simplicity” of this one. The muted colors and array of elements were pleasant to work with.

Tell us about your scrapping experience: Did you ever paper scrap? When did you start digi-scrapping? How did you get started?

I dabbled shortly in paper scrapping when introduced by my best friend after I had my daughter. I tried to keep up, but just couldnt find the time or space to bring everything out and put it back up. As my daughter got older, it because even more difficult, so I have about 4 drawers of paper scrap material/sticker/etc that are used for crafting I started digi scrapping back in 2010. I ran across a site that custom fit to Disney World, and since we have been every year since 2002 as vacation, I have a LOT of pictures… so I started doing the monthly challenges and from there branches out to Ginger Scraps and have been creating ever since!

What program do you use?
I have been using Photoshop CS since 2002

Can you share a tip or a piece of advice for your fellow digi scrappers out there?
I personally can not scrap a great layout without LOVING the subject in which I am scrapping. If you do not completely love and dedicate your scrap to the subject/kit at hand, it will possibly show in your layout. Scrap what you Love, and you will always be proud of your work!

Tell us something different about you:

I really don’t like to talk about myself The only interesting thing about me would be that I am a Disney World addict. LOL. I’m just not that interesting!!

What is your favorite Blue Heart Scraps kit?
That’s so tough! She does such great work. If I had to choose one, it would be Sweet Tooth. I have SUCH a love for everything sugary! LOL
