Happy Tuesday! It’s the week of Halloween here, and my family’s in one of those ‘life is tough, kids grow up’ periods. At 13 and 15, my boys almost feel like they should be too old to go Trick or Treating, but really want to enjoy the fun and exhilaration that comes with dressing up and joining our neighborhood in the streets greeting and laughing as we pass all the fun and interesting costumes. I’m of the firm belief that you’re never too old to trick or treat (and, as a mom, if they’re close and safe, then it’s all so much better for my sanity, lol) Besides, if they involve my husband and I, we can have super awesome family costumes! 😉

Not gonna lie, pretty glad to see this week end; it’s been a tough one around here. I’m trying to get used to another set of medicine (and its side effects); my husband is back at work after 3 months, so I’m left covering school bus drop offs and pick ups and most everything around the house; and I’ve just felt like crud. It hasn’t all been horrible, though!
