We are busy at our house making last minute preparations for Halloween. We still have pumpkins to carve and my oldest son still needs to figure out what he is going to dress like this evening. There are school parades and 4th grade class parties to help out at. By the end of the day I am sure I will be exhausted!

With the holiday today I couldn’t resist not spotlighting a Halloween layout. This week I chose “Halloween Memories” by SweetLittleNothingness.

I love how she shared photos throughout the years. Fun way to see how the kids grow from from each Halloween. I also loved how she angled the papers on her layout. This week I am going to do things a little different. Instead of spotlighting one layout I am going to spotlight two. First off I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to use, and second each one looks completely different even though they are using the same basic template. The template pack I want to share this week is Clean & Simple Vol. 3.

The first two layouts I would like to spotlight are “My Crazy Family” by melissavt and “Love” by Lmsandt. I love how versatile templates are. You can use them over and over and not every layout will look the same. Melissavt chose to put a picture in each one of the squares, while Lmsandt used the small squares for a title and also decided to use one main picture on the bottom instead of two. The possibilities are endless.

It’s that time of year where there seems to be a crispness in the air. I love the colorful trees and the sound of leaves crunching under feet. I couldn’t resist spotlighting a fall layout this week. The layout I chose was created by Lmsandt.

I love how she captured her kids having fun together in the leaves. I also love how she took the polka-dot papers and matched them all up in the layers. Beautiful job!
