January starts a time of celebration around my house. My husband’s birthday is on the 18th, mine is the 29th and my oldest son’s is the 6th of February. That means several weeks full of birthday cakes and special birthday dinners – and of course, presents and parties and LOTS of birthday pictures! 🙂 I’m hoping that means lots of birthday layout scrapping, too…but before I can scrap those precious birthday memories, I need a beautiful kit to work with.

Happy Friday morning, all. My family is finally starting to get back onto a normal schedule after the holidays. The oldest is back in Kindergarten and my next college semester starts on Monday (hold on while I try to fake excitement about that, lol).

Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful time last night saying goodbye to 2011 and welcoming 2012 with open arms. Though my family and I had a lot to be thankful for last year, I’m quite glad to see it gone and a new year started. Hopefully 2012 will be much kinder to us all. 🙂
