Friday Freebies

Oh what a week!  A quick follow up appointment with the spinal doctor on Tuesday, to discuss my MRI results left me prepping for back surgery on Wednesday and recuperating (and in extreme pain) by Wednesday night.  The pain is bad, but I’m hoping and believing it will all be worth it in the end.

One thing that will help me feel better? Layout Spotlight

Secret Garden, Winner & Freebie!

I love this week’s new release.  Absolutely love it!  I loved it as I was putting it all together – but when I saw the slew of gorgeous layouts my talented CT members and the Brownie Supremes created with it?  It quickly became one of my favorite kits so far!  The beauty in these pages is incredible – leaves me in awe of the talent they possess.  Check these pages out and tell me you didn’t fall in love with at least one of them?!

This week’s new release is called Secret Garden.  It has the natural flowers and colors for your gorgeous scenic pictures (like that gorgeous layout from Kim above with the blended waterfall picture in the back or Pat’s trip through Ruby Falls), is feminine enough for the pictures of yourself and your sweet little girls (do you see the beautiful layouts with all the adorable little girls above? And Crystal’s wedding pictures? Perfect!), masculine enough to easily scrap a boy in a pick up truck (super cute with his shades!) and enough of everything else to add a layout featuring an adorable little cat.  It’s one of those kits you can come back to over and over again.

Friday Freebie

Good Morning, all!  Hope you’ve had a glorious week so far.  Things have been busy here, leaving me utterly exhausted!

I thought getting up with my oldest when he started Kindergarten last week would help prepare me for when the next semester of college began (I started back this Wednesday) – and I was right in the sense that it required me to be up and dressed and ready to go in plenty of time to get to my classes.  But, I think I had gotten used to taking a nap with the boys this summer, because the all day running this week has left me dragging.  I was in bed asleep shortly after 10 last night.  That may not sound early, but considering I’m usually up and going until 1-1:30 in the mornings, crashing at 10 last night was very early.

But, I’m up and ready to head out to classes this morning, with a smile on my face and a little extra pep in my walk.  Part of that is from my nice long night of sleep.  The other part?  This gorgeous freebie I get to share with you all!
