New Release: BFF and Freebie!

Happy Monday morning!  Let’s hope today is the start of an incredible week for all of us.  Though I thought I was doing better, my recovery from surgery hit a huge speed bump this weekend, leaving me feeling quite pitiful.  But, the silver lining to my cloud?  Today is new release day!  🙂

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Manda of Sanko Studios for this week’s new release.  She’s a super sweet girl and I had a ton of fun working with her.  Hopefully this is the first of several collabs.  🙂  Plus, I think the result of our combined efforts is simply gorgeous!  Our new kit, BFF, highlights those important to us in life, who take up a lot of our time, but we would be lost without — our friends.

I’ve been seeing some great layouts being created. Once in a while, I just see a layout and just fall in love with it. Well, that is what happened this week.  I found this week’s layout at Scrapable, if you didn’t already know, JoyLynn is a guest designer there.

I chose Secret Garden by triscuit_13.  Feel free to go and leave her some love on her wonderful layout.

I love everything about this layout, and those photos are just too adorable.

Friday Freebies

Oh what a week!  A quick follow up appointment with the spinal doctor on Tuesday, to discuss my MRI results left me prepping for back surgery on Wednesday and recuperating (and in extreme pain) by Wednesday night.  The pain is bad, but I’m hoping and believing it will all be worth it in the end.

One thing that will help me feel better? Secret Garden, Winner & Freebie!

I love this week’s new release.  Absolutely love it!  I loved it as I was putting it all together – but when I saw the slew of gorgeous layouts my talented CT members and the Brownie Supremes created with it?  It quickly became one of my favorite kits so far!  The beauty in these pages is incredible – leaves me in awe of the talent they possess.  Check these pages out and tell me you didn’t fall in love with at least one of them?!

This week’s new release is called Secret Garden.  It has the natural flowers and colors for your gorgeous scenic pictures (like that gorgeous layout from Kim above with the blended waterfall picture in the back or Pat’s trip through Ruby Falls), is feminine enough for the pictures of yourself and your sweet little girls (do you see the beautiful layouts with all the adorable little girls above? And Crystal’s wedding pictures? Perfect!), masculine enough to easily scrap a boy in a pick up truck (super cute with his shades!) and enough of everything else to add a layout featuring an adorable little cat.  It’s one of those kits you can come back to over and over again.

Secret Garden is now available at both Brownie Scraps and Digital Scrap Cafe.
