Morning everyone! Arianna here.  I hope your morning and week is going good so far. I know Mondays are always dreaded, but I hope this post finds you in good spirits.

Well, I’m here to talk about a very hot topic in the digi world right now, organizing your digital stash.

I’ve heard so many people talking about it lately it is crazy! What is the best way to organize your stash? Do you use a program to do it? Some many questions and a lot of work goes into the process, but I know once your stash is organized to your liking, it is so much easier to find whatever it is that you are looking for!!!

I’ve done some research and I’ve found quite a few different ways to organize your stash. In the end, it is going to come down to what works for you, although one way may not work for you, you could always try combining different tips and tricks to make whatever it is work for you! Personally, this is what I do, I’ve been doing it for a while. Although setting yourself up this way is time consuming in the end, I believe it is sooooo worth it!

On my desktop I have a folder called Digital Scrapbooking

When you open that folder I have three more folders; Creative Teams, Kit Previews & Kits

In my Creative Teams Folders is where I put all my kits I need to work with for my CTs. I also have a folder in there called completed layouts. I have all layouts in there that need to be uploaded but haven’t released yet. In that folder I have a folder called Uploaded Layouts. It’s basically like my archive. I have different folders for different months with all the layouts I’ve uploaded.

My Kit Previews Folder may get you lost though. I have 28 different folders.

Alpha-Actions-Etc ( different odds and ends go in here), Art, Baby, Bath-Bed, Birthday, Boy, Christmas, Cooking, Couples-Love, Dragons-Monsters-Robots-Dinosaurs, Easter, Fall, Garden, Girls, Halloween, Independence Days, Music, Pets-Animals, Photography-Scrap, Pregnancy, School-Reading, Spring, St Patricks Day, Summer-Beach, Traveling-Camping, Weight Lose, Winter.

Now, I have only kit previews in here. My way works for be, because I also make siggies. So if someone requests a kit certain theme, I can find the folder look inside and wallah see what I have, while my way may work for me, it may not work for everyone else. Each preview may be in more than one folder, because sometimes a kit can fall into two or three or four different categories.

Lastly, in my kits folder, I have all of my kits. They are in alphabetical order. This process works very well for me!!!

How do you organize your stash? Do you have a program to do that? Do you organize by store and designer? What way works best for you? I’d love to hear what you have to say on subject!

Like I’ve said before, it is going to come down to what works best for you. 🙂
