My older kids started school weeks ago, but my 3 year old just started preschool and so the start of school has definitely been on my mind this week. I can’t believe my baby is old enough to go have fun without me! Officially he started last week, but I was out of town and missed it so this week has been the official week for me. Fortunately grandma and grandpa took care of shedding tears on his first day so I could be strong when he left on Monday. He even let me snap a few pictures which I am excited to scrap.
With school on my mind I thought it would be great to go back a year and highlight a layout and kit that came last year when school started. The layout I chose was “Make the Grade” by MSPeeler, using the kit Make the Grade.

*yawn* I don’t know what the deal with me is lately, but I seem to stay completely and utterly exhausted all the time! I even overslept this morning (poor alarm clock went off for about 25 minutes before I heard a sound), but was able to get the boys to school on time. I have about 2 and a half hours before I have to pick them up from school. If I were being responsible, I’d probably fold and put away some laundry or buy some groceries…but I think I’ll take a nap instead. 🙂

Happy Tuesday afternoon! I hope all of you in the US had a lovely holiday weekend. The boys enjoyed the day off of school yesterday, and I enjoyed the peace and quiet that came with sending them back to school this morning! 🙂
