Browsing the Blue Heart Scraps gallery this week at GingerScraps I found the most adorable layout by Mandalue titled “Adventurer”.

I love how she put her journaling and pictures to the left and kept the right side as white space. I also love how the bolts are scattered on top of her journaling. The kit she used was Beep Boop. Layout Spotlight April 4th and Coupon!

I don’t know about your house, but after a weekend of Easter candy my kids are on a serious sugar high. This Little Boy Collab & Freebie!

Catching Up on New Releases

It’s been a long few weeks – my college courses are packing the work and tests on before Spring Break hits the end of the month, same for my son’s 1st grade classes.  Baseball season is gearing up, and with the boys on different teams this year (Hayden’s doing another year of T-Ball and Tyler’s trying out his first year of Coach Pitch), plus the fact that my headaches have been so bad the past week or so that I’m surprised my hasn’t literally exploded…and well, I’ve got a bit of catching up to do on some great new template releases! 🙂

When I went to take the kids to school this morning I could smell spring in the air. Also in the past week I have noticed chirping birds again. I can’t believe that spring is finally on it’s way! So with spring in the air you would think I would have found a beautiful springy layout to share this week, but no, you would be wrong. The layout that caught my eye this week in the Blue Heart Scraps Gallery at Brownie Scraps was titled “Autumn Beauty” by tinkay2.

I just love what she did with this template, using the boxes as matting for one main picture instead of six different pictures. I also love the flowers peaking out behind the photo. Just beautiful. The template she used for this layout is Rewind Vol. 2.

Layout Spotlight March 7th and Coupon!

Todays spotlight is titled “Memories” and was created by krystlbear. I love how she used the same photo twice. I love the effect of the neutral large picture in the background. She did a fabulous job using different sized rectangles, squares and circles to mat her photo. This is definitely being added to my scraplift list! Beautiful job!

Layout Spotlight for 2/28 and coupon!

I can’t believe it is already the last day of the month. It amazes me how February always just flies by, even though are only three days less then January. It’s also Thursday and time for another layout spotlight. This particular layout is by Nonna2Dreja and can be found in the Blue Heart Scraps Gallery at Brownie Scraps. I loved how she ripped the photo at an angle and then matted it on the brown with the journaling taking up the other half of the mat. I also love the bold colors. Big day at our house today, my 2nd oldest officially became a teenager. I wish I could just make her stay little forever, but I don’t think that’s possible. Unfortunately my little girl has to grow up, and it is happening way too fast.

Looking through the Blue Heart Scraps Gallery at Gingerscraps I came across this layout by Mandy and I immediately fell in love with it. I love how it captures her son’s moment in the rain. The dark background really makes the pictures and elements pop off the page.
