Tuesday Treats Freebie Time!

Oh what a week it’s been!  Broken vehicle, grumpy attitudes, hospitalization for my mom…it’s like a big black cloud hanging over our home.  Kind of glad we’re in a new week, and hopefully this one will be so much better!

Has school started where you are?  My oldest starts 1st Grade next month, and I’m ready to see all of the incredible new things he learns this year.  His ability to grasp so many new concepts last year, and the way he gets So. Very. Excited. when he reads things on his own…it’s exciting for me to learn right along with him! 🙂

Today’s freebie is PERFECT for those preparing for, or currently experiencing, the back to school excitement.  This gorgeous Facebook Timeline QP is made from Make The Grade, the August Free with $10 Purchase Grab Bag at GingerScraps.

The kit is FREE when you purchase $10 or more in the GingerScraps store. But even better?  If you purchase the $10 or more in my store you’ll not only get the grab bag free, but also the Make the Grade Add-On Papers for FREE too!  🙂

I’ve  got some fun releases scheduled for Friday, so don’t forget to check back then.  Until then, though,

Layout Spotlight: Making the Grad(e)!

Happy Thursday everyone!

It’s time for yet another Layout Spotlight- I was so happy to see many more new layouts in Blue Heart Scraps GingerScraps Gallery!

This layout by Atusia jumped out at me, the bold blue paper was what had me going back and really looking. It absolutely stood out in the gallery.

I really love her use of the pain splatters, and the alpha for title work. I like how she stacked the books to hold the date. The photos match beautifully with that blue paper! I also love the different papers she has stacked behind the photos. The layout is simple with just the right amount of elements and is super lovely!

Atusia used Blue Heart Scraps’ GingerScraps August Grab-bag: Make the Grade

Best part? This kit is FREE when you purchase $10 or more in the GingerScraps store. Wait wait, it gets better, if you purchase the $10 or more in Blue Heart Scraps’ Store you’ll get the Grab-bag for FREE PLUS! you’ll get the Make the Grade Paper Add-ons for FREE too!

Yup, pretty sweet.

So, go check out Atusia’s beautiful layout, leave her some gallery love– she’s actually got more than one layout using Blue Heart Scraps’ Make the Grade kit!

I’d love to see even MORE new layouts in Blue Heart Scraps’ gallery, so don’t be shy! Keep creating those fantastic pages using any products from Blue Heart Scraps shop and upload to her Designer Gallery! Then while I’m lurking about I might just pick YOUR layout to be featured here! 🙂

Keep on having a GREAT Thursday and keep on scrappin’ on! 🙂

Today is a special version of Tuesday Treats, because I have not one but TWO freebies to share with you! 🙂

The first is a new Facebook exclusive freebie that I uploaded to the Blue Heart Scraps Facebook Page this weekend.  This set of 10 adorable buttons is the perfect companion for this month’s Free With $10 Purchase Grab Bag at GingerScraps!

Even better? Make that $10 purchase in MY store and you not only get the FWP grab bag, but you also get a beautiful add-on paper pack! 🙂

Next up?  An adorable cluster freebie made with one of my latest releases, By The Campfire.  Though it’s still mighty hot outside, the idea of being cuddled up around the fire in a quiet nature setting sounds pretty nice.  Who wants to join me?  🙂

Layout Spotlight

Good morning everyone! Happy Thursday! I’ve got another lovely layout to share with you!

This layout by robinsismai uses one of Blue Heart Scraps older kits, that I just love love love.

The papers are just too pretty! Plus, purple is my favorite color. I love all of her papers stacked in this layout and her little clusters around the photos are just right.

The kit she used was the Relax Mini Kit, again, one of my favorites.

I’d say this is a must have in your stash, with the muted colors and just the right amount of elements- then again, I’m bias and will tell you you need ALL of Blue Heart Scraps products in your stash. 😉

Remember, if you want to see your layout featured here on Blue Heart Scraps blog, all you have to do is create and share! I know JoyLynn LOVES seeing all the beautiful pages you create using her kits, and so do I!

Tuesday Treats Freebie!

Vacation is over (had a blast – everyone should take a cruise some time in their life…I’m hoping this is just our first, lol), but man I’m so incredibly behind on everything!  I almost feel like I deserve a vacation to get over the vacation we just enjoyed! 🙂

Did you enjoy all of the fun and festivities during GingerScraps’ Christmas In July celebration?  I didn’t get to spend quite as much time chatting with everyone as I had hoped (our social calendar was pretty booked this weekend), but I know that much fun was had!  My portion of the GingerScraps Christmas In July Facebook Hop is still available for download on the Blue Heart Scraps Facebook Page if you haven’t snagged it yet.  You might have to scroll down on the page just a bit, but I promise you, it’s there and ready for you to grab and enjoy.  🙂

And, like most every Tuesday, I come bearing a new freebie ready for you to enjoy! 🙂 This adorable Facebook Timeline Cover, created using my newer release By The Campfire, is perfect for those who love to camp…which they had the chance to camp now and then…or just dream of being stuck in a remote area all alone with nothing by the peace and quiet of nature to lull them to sleep at night.  😉

Layout Spotlight: Sunshine and Rain(bows)!

Good morning everyone! I had to check the date on the computer, I didn’t believe it was Thursday already. How the time gets away from us so quickly, I’ll never know. Yesterday was INSANE! but in a great way, it started the Christmas in July extravaganza at GingerScraps: so many chats, prizes, fun, yay!

Let’s get back to business, I’m here to share with you a beautiful layout, that I keep coming back to so I can’t ignore it any longer. I MUST share it. Sunshine and Rain(bows) by Michelle (MSPeeler)

I absolutely love this layout. Everything about it. The photo is beautiful and silly all at once. The muted tone of the photo, the bright bold colors of the papers stacked at the bottom and her little cluster is just enough to make this page outstanding in my opinion. Love love love it! Michelle used one of Blue Heart Scraps Across The Line Templates

along with that she used Blue Heart Scraps Sunshine and Rain kit

Again, I absolutely love this kit. The papers alone are a must have, not to mention the fun fun fun elements!

Don’t forget to go leave some love for Michelle in her gallery– she has so many lovely layouts including this one!

Remember, if YOU want to be featured here all you have to do is do what you’re already doing (that’s a lot of do’s)! Keep creating those fantastic layouts (using Blue Heart Scraps products of course!), upload them to Blue Heart Scraps Gallery and whambam-you’re welcome! I love looking at all the pages in JoyLynn’s gallery and I know she does too! I can’t wait to see even more gorgeous layouts during the Christmas in July event(which you can find out more information by clicking here)!

Hope everyone has a GREAT Thursday and a happy scrappy weekend to come!

First up, a list of the scheduled chats and speed scraps for this weekend:
(see the fun speed scrap scheduled for 2pm EST today?  Yep, you’ll totally want to join me for that one!)  🙂

There are special prizes to win for doing those challenges and speed scraps and chats! You can win a goodie bag full of coupons from the designers at GingerScraps! Could you think of a better present to be found under the tree? You’ll find more information in the forum!

We’re also excited to announce the re-vamping and re-release of the December 2011 Buffet.  My portions are an element pack and a paper pack, each previewed below:

While you’re peeking around the store, though, we sure to check out the Funky Christmas Buffet goodies from ALL of the designers — it’s just stuffed FULL of gorgeous awesomeness! 🙂

There’s also a sale going on!  Yep, that’s right, we’re going all out! 🙂  Select Christmas and Winter themed goodies are now on sale 50% off this weekend only!  You can find the full list of sales goodies in the store:

I don’t have a lot of Winter/Christmas type goodies…so I only have 1 product (outside of the new Funky Christmas Buffet items) on sale this weekend.  BUT, it’s 50% off, so now’s a GREAT time to pick it up!  🙂

Tuesday Treats Freebie!

I’ve shared a few freebies with my Check Out Collab with Luv Ewe Designs lately, because that collab is awesome and adorable and totally worth sharing great freebies from.  BUT!  That is not our only collab.  We also have the Owie Collab, which I may just love a little bit MORE than the Check Out Collab.

I’m quite accident prone…so any randomly picked day in my life could mean a handful or more of random bumps, bruises and cuts (I mean, it takes talent to walk into a wall…or cut your thumb up on a cheese grater, after all, lol! *sigh*).  Hopefully you’re not as clumsy as I am, but if you are…and there are layouts to be created with your bumps and bruises and cuts?  The Owie Collab is PERFECT! 🙂
