Tuesday Treats Freebie!

Happy Tuesday morning!  Things are quite crazy and hectic and out of control around here this morning.  We’re heading off on our family vacation tomorrow morning, so today I’m running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to make sure I have everything organized and cleaned and washed and packed and ready to go.  We don’t take a ton of big vacations, so I’m not one of those with several super organized packing lists (mainly because I wouldn’t know what to put on them, lol)…so I’m probably stressing myself out more than necessary because of it.  Oh well, there shall be fun had by all. I’m demanding it, lol.  🙂

Layout Spotlight: It’s all sunshine and rainbows! Plus a BONUS sneak peek!

Good morning happy scrappers!

I wanted to spotlight a layout from thecurrent blog template challenge here at Blue Heart Scraps. The template, I am loving more and more and might have to modify it again to use for a second layout.

I really love what Skye (skcosti) did with the template.

Her photos are just darling!

I love her title work, with the word rainbows using the different colored alpha. I like how her center cluster is a mirror of itself with the rainbows too. The stars that are scattered behind the photos are a definite nice touch. Please hop on over to the gallery and leave some layout love for Skye and her pretty pretty layout.

Skye used Blue Heart Scraps Sunshine & Rain. Don’t let the name of the kit fool you, it’s incredibly versatile. The colors are so fun, bold and bright! I absolutely LOVE all the additional papers provided in the bundle. I know I’m bias, but even if I wasn’t, add this to your wishlist- better yet your cart.

Tuesday Treats Freebie!

Happy July!  Such hot weather here (and most every else) lately!  The kids and I have been cooped up in the house more than I’d like, because doing anything outside besides lounging lazily in the small inflatable pool feels like far too much effort.  That means the kids are wild and stir crazy and driving each other (and me!!!) crazy.  I know we’ve only just begun summer…but here’s hoping the ridiculously hot weather finds a new home, far away from here, very very soon.

Know what I can do without having to worry about the heat, though?  Share freebies!  I’m like a postal worker…neither snow nor rain nor ridiculously insane heat shall keep the freebies from being posted (though, sometimes, I forget and it has nothing to do with the weather, lol).
