It’s Another Sunshiney Day! & Freebie! :)

Another one’s come and gone, and once again I’m tickled pink (or, in this case, maybe yellow and blue) to show you the week’s new release goodies – the first three of which are on sale for 25% off this weekend!  🙂

I showed you my kit Sunshiney Day last week:

I also showed you a set of Facebook Timeline QPs that I created to coordinate with that kit.

And I raved about how much I loved it, and that was true!  So true, in fact, that this week’s new releases are a few more gorgeous coordinating packs to match Sunshiney Day.  I guess I just wasn’t quite ready for the awesomeness of that kit to be done!  😀

First is the Sunshiney Day Alpha Set.  This bright and sunny alpha pack is perfect for all of your happy, sunny layouts – and coordinates perfectly with the Sunshiney Day items. Alpha includes uppercase, lowercase, numbers and some punctuation.

Then I have the Sunshiney Day Clusters.  Cluster pack contains 6 clustered files saved in PNG format. Coordinates perfectly with the Sunshiney Day items.

I also have the Sunshiney Day Paper Stacks.  It includes 4 12×12 beautifully Stacked Papers, coordinating with the Sunshiney Day items.

Are you as in love with all of the yummy, yummy, goodness as I am?  😀  Then you certainly don’t want to miss the Sunshiney Day Bundle Pack!  Nothing’s better than a bright, happy, sunshiney day…except getting to scrap those wonderful days. And that’s where Sunshiney Days comes in! Packed with sunshine, energy, happiness, and most of all – sunshine!  And, when you buy the bundle pack, you can scrap those beautiful layouts while saving money!

Bundle Pack includes full sized Sunshiney Day Kit, alpha pack, cluster pack, stacked paper pack, and Facebook Timeline QPs.

AND, it’s all available for just $8!!!  That, my friends, is a steal! 😀

And, check out some of the GORGEOUS layouts created by my super talented CT ladies:

Love, Love, Love!!! 😀

And last, but certainly not least, a freebie! 🙂  This QuickPage, that was created using the Sunshiney Day kit, is yours!  All you have to do is:

Layout spotlight plus bonus sneak peek!

Good Morning and happy Thursday BHS friends! Time to share with you a stellar layout from Blue Heart Scraps gallery, except I have one teeny weensy problem- I can’t pick just ONE!

These beautiful layouts used JoyLynn’s newest kit, Sunshiney Day:

First up is Cherry’s layout:

I absolutely love how she used the stitches around the paper, I love her little clusters, her scatter and her layers of paper behind the photo. It’s just all so awesome! Go show her some super duper love!

Next layout I saw that immediately popped out at me because of how amazingly amazing it is, is Lynette’s:

I love the torn paper but what I especially love is her use of black/white and color photo, which is tied together brilliantly by the wordart tag!  It’s just so perfectly perfect! Don’t forget to show her some of that love too!

The last layout I want to share with you is from Francine.

I am such a sucker for white space, it’s my absolute favorite! I love that her photo is a part of the cluster, yet still stands out! Make sure to show Francine some love too!

I wish I could share with you every single beautiful layout in the gallery! Instead why don’t you head on over and scope out all the goodies there yourself and upload your own fantastic layouts! Who knows… YOU could be our next Layout Spotlight!

Speaking of goodies! Tomorrow JoyLynn has a special treat! Make sure to check back here and the store for some totally rad add ons!

Tuesday Treats Freebie Time!

Seriously?  How is it already Tuesday again!?  Feels like I was JUST posting last week’s freebie!  Luckily, fast moving time means the school year is nearly over – for both myself  and my Kindergartener, lol.  It will be nice to be able to stay up a bit later in the evenings, and sleep a bit later in the morning.  And a vacation.  Because we have a big one planned for this summer…and it seriously can NOT get here fast enough! 🙂

This week’s new release is a gorgeous border cluster freebie to match last week’s Sunshiney Day release.  I just LOVE the bright, happy feeling that the kit evokes in me.  Hopefully, you’re a huge fan of the kit, too! 🙂

I hope you have an incredibly wonderful few days ahead of you.  I’ve got some more fun, coordinating packs planned for release this Friday – and I just can’t wait to show them to you!  Hopefully, the end of the week will go by as fast as the first part of the week has.  🙂

Meet the Team Monday – Kim and a $1 Sale

It’s time for another installment of our Meet the Team Monday feature. Today we are featuring Kim! Let’s get to know more about her now.

Basic Bio:
My name is Kim. I’m a SAHM to my 4 wonderful (if exhausting) kids – Zach is 9, Josh is 7, Madison is 3, and Naomi is 17 months. We live in a small town south of Dallas, Texas. I teach preschool two days a week at our church’s mother’s day out. And I spend a lot of time running my kids back and forth between activities – school, scouts, sports, church…the list doesn’t end!

How long have you been on the Blue Heart Scraps CT?
Wow! I had to go back through emails to try and figure that out. I think since the end of May last year.

Tell us about your scrapping experience: Did you ever paper scrap? When did you start digi-scrapping? How did you get started?
I started paper scrapping when my first son was born and with each kid, their books got further and further behind and finding time to drag out all the supplies to scrap just never seemed to happen. Then in December of 2010 I was playing around on the internet and discovered Scrapbook-Bytes. I downloaded Photoshop Elements that evening and haven’t looked back! I’m caught up on the kids books, I’m finding time to scrap faithbook and just journaling pages for myself, and I just started scanning and sorting through 6 boxes of pictures my mom has collected from her childhood and mine. I’m so excited at the idea of getting to scrap those heritage LOs!

What program do you use?
I still use Elements. Every once in a while I consider upgrading to full photoshop, but there is still new things to hear in Elements every day so I’m sticking with it for now!

Can you share a tip or a piece of advice for your fellow digi scrappers out there?
Don’t ever forget the goal of scrapbooking is to record memories so journal and take pictures of those little every day moments that your kids are going to love to see when they are all grown up! And the best tip I can give is to learn your program. There are so many fun and creative things you can do with your photos, but you have to learn your program first so read tutorials, take a class, and spend some time just playing around.

Tell us something different about you:
Because of my father’s job, I spent most of my childhood in Europe. 3 years in Italy and 7 years in Germany. We came back to the states the summer before my senior year of high school. So I haven’t seen a lot of the states and I make it a goal to get to one new area of the country each year – even if it’s just for a couple of days when I go with my hubby while he’s traveling for work.

What is your favorite layout you’ve made using Blue Heart Scraps products?
This one instantly popped into my head –

What is your favorite Blue Heart Scraps kit?
“Just Another Day” It’s a collab with Sanko Studios. I LOVE LOVE the colors and it’s great for all types of kits.

Because Kim loves Just Another Day so much, so can you! For today only, you can get this awesome collab kit for just $1!! This is a deal you definitely don’t want to miss!! Hurry over to Gingerscraps today to pick up your copy of this versatile kit for just $1

Layout Spotlight

We’re back! Again! How excited are you? You should be, because I totally am!

This week we’re showcasing this awesome layout “My Little Garden” by  jbdolfin of Scrap Happens to Me.

Meet the Team Monday – Amy and a Sale

It’s time for you to meet our next Blue Heart Scraps Team member — ME!

There are a few Amy’s on the Blue Heart Scraps CT, and we’ll be sure to introduce them all to you. I’m the one that works a bit more behind the scenes here on the blog and on Facebook.

So, let me tell you alittle more about myself:

Basic Bio:
I’m Amy (known as FamilyHistoryScrapper in the digital scrapbooking world). I’m 32 and an elementary school teacher, a job which I love. On a personal note, I’m getting married this summer!! I got engaged this past Christmas and will marry the man of my dreams this August! I cannot wait!

How long have you been on the Blue Heart Scraps CT?
I joined February 2012 as part of the Promo Team

Tell us about your scrapping experience: Did you ever paper scrap? When did you start digi-scrapping? How did you get started?
I did start out paper scrapping, many, many years ago. I still have tubs of supplies upstairs from Creative Memories and all types of other scrapbook companies. I never finished many albums in paper scrapping as it took so much effort to get all my supplies out all the time and I was always afraid to mess things up and not be able to fix them. Around 2007, my sister-in-law got me into Digital scrapbooking and from then I was hooked! I especially loved it for the ability to create amazing layouts with older, heritage photos. I scrapped for a good while and then took a break to help with family issues for awhile, but then returned with a fervor to digi-scrapping as I have a whole new world of things to scrapbook since I met my finance and we have lots of amazing times ahead of us in the future.

What program do you use?
PSP 9 (I so need to upgrade, but I know this program so well, I hate to have to start learning something new!!)

Can you share a tip or a piece of advice for your fellow digi scrappers out there?
Check out galleries to get inspired! I know that has really helped me to expand my abilities in digital scrapbooking. Also, find tutorials online….I even took a class on how to use my program to do scrapbooking things so I could learn more, yet every day I work on a layout I learn something new. My favorite things are the tips from others scrappers out there!

Tell us something different about you:
This might not be too ‘different’ considering my scrapbooking name, but I’m a huge family history buff! Since the time I was super little my mom took me with her to libraries and places to research family history. Once I was old enough, I just loved digging into the past and learning more about where my ancestors came from. There are days I wish I could travel back in time for a short visit and actually ‘see’ history in action for real!

What is your favorite layout you’ve made using Blue Heart Scraps products?

What is your favorite Blue Heart Scraps kit?
This is a hard one as I love them all, but if I had to pick one I’d say Fresh Picked, as it was the kit that first drew me to Blue Heart Scraps!

In honor of my getting to introduce myself to all of you, my favorite kit: Fresh Picked, will be on sale TODAY only for just $1. Hurry over to GingerScraps to pick up this great kit for just $1!

Happy Easter!
